In Bobbys World

Remember the 60's...how about where you were at, at the height of Haight-Asbury. Wasn't the music great....Love Power....Make Love not War! was the dominate feeling at that time....Well lets relive a taste of those days...I was in San Francisco, New York and in Central Florida during the summer of love 1967-1968, here's some memories you'll love. Bands, music, crowds, Pete Townsend and his flying guitar at Curtis Hixon Hall, Tampa, Fl. in a sold out auditorium 1967. Step back in time with us and remember the 'good ole dayzes' .

Wow...I must be trippin......

Did Pete really catch it? Yes he did! This image was caught in St Petersburgh, Fl around 1968. The old Curtis Hixon Auditorium. A lot of great music came outta there. Anybody who was anybody seemed to play there in soldout crowds (photo courtesy of John Malarky).

Tisk, tisk, tisk.... more misinformation being pumped out onto the friggin' web. It either happened at the Bayfront Center in St.Petersburg or at Curtis Hixon Hall in Tampa. Because there was no Curtis Hixon in St. Pete!! Take my word for it. I've lived in the bay area for over 50 years (NTM, I've been to plenty of shows at both those venues before they tore them down).

Or you could just look it up. : )
